How to Install Soul Bass 2 (macOS)

Compatibility: macOS 10.13+ (Intel & Apple Silicon Native)

  1. Run the Installer: Open the .pkg or .dmg file and follow the on-screen prompts.
  2. Plugin Locations: The installer automatically places files in these system folders:

    • AU: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
    • VST3: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
    • Standalone App: Found in your Applications folder.
  3. DAW Scan: Open your DAW (Logic, Ableton, FL Studio, etc.). It should automatically scan and find Soul Bass 2.0.

    • Note: If using Logic on an M1/M2/M3 Mac, this plugin runs natively—no Rosetta required.

How to Install Soul Bass 2 (Windows)

Compatibility: Windows 10/11 (64-bit)

  1. Run the Installer: Double-click the .exe installer.
  2. Plugin Locations:

    • VST3: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\
    • Standalone App: C:\Program Files\SoulBass\SoulBass 2.0\
  3. Troubleshooting: If you receive a "DLL missing" error upon launching, you may need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (2015–2022).
  4. DAW Scan: Ensure your DAW is set to scan the standard VST3 path listed above.
